What is Susan's plan of action for her campaign? How does Susan plan to use grassroots activists in her campaign? I have a great campaign team with a lot of positive energy. I anticipate having the loving support of the Democratic Women’s Caucus, and I encourage anyone with future plans of running for office to get involved someone else’s campaign to prepare for a run of their own. We’ve delegated the details of my campaign, and I will be an active candidate going door to door. We’ve designed nothing complicated, just a straightforward campaign using common sense and personal contact. In part, I want voters to see me in action, and invite them to follow what the Council is doing to determine for themselves how well I am serving their interests (our meetings are on CATS every week, too, if people cannot make it to the actual Council meetings!). As an incumbent, I will choose my campaign activities wisely making sure my Council responsibilities take top priority. I believe my wisest campaign strategy is to be the best City Councilmember I can possibly be in the coming year. That requires doing my homework, meeting with the experts, and coming to Council meetings totally prepared to make wise decisions.
