What is the moral center of Susan's campaign?

I’m a baby boomer, a lifelong Democrat, and the daughter of two FDR-era Democrats - both former public school teachers and veterans of World War II.

From childhood my parents instilled values of community participation, a love of good literature and the arts, giving of one’s talents, having respect for people with different opinions and beliefs, and a strong sense of social justice for all, including our most vulnerable neighbors with few resources.  I bring these and many other personal and family values to the table.

I’m pro-labor, pro-choice, anti-war - and I have growing concerns for the environmental health of our city and our planet.  I’m not afraid of new challenges, and I have the stamina to represent the public with integrity and courage.
